I’m Damien Burns, a Certified Financial Planner® and SMSF Specialist Adviser™, and a Director of Counting Beans Advice. I have worked in financial planning since 2004, helping successful individuals, families and business owners make informed decisions about their wealth. My role is to help clients bring structure and clarity to often complex financial circumstances. This may involve coordinating investment portfolios, superannuation and SMSFs, retirement planning, tax-effective strategies, debt, cash flow, estate planning considerations and broader wealth management decisions. For clients with significant assets, the challenge is often not simply how to accumulate more wealth, but how to **manage, protect, structure and ultimately transfer that wealth effectively**. My approach is highly personal and strategy-led. I take the time to understand your financial position, your family circumstances, your business interests and what you want your wealth to achieve over the long term. Where appropriate, we can also work collaboratively with your accountant, solicitor and other professional advisers. Through the broader **Counting Beans** group, we can also coordinate financial advice, accounting and lending to provide a more integrated view of your financial affairs. I believe good advice should give you greater confidence, simplify decision-making and ensure that the different parts of your financial life are working together.
